Diane wanted to make a snow angel but it looked like a jump grid to me! What can I say. I'm an agility corgi!
Silly Diane thought she could make us look festive and take pictures for Christmas. Ha! And ha again! We certainly put an end to that nonsense. Although she looks awfully determined. I think she might try again.
I've been waiting and waiting for the snow to arrive! Now we have snow but it seems to make that Fiji run even faster! Drat! This is my friend Lark. She used to be Kiwi's friend. They trained agility together. Now we get together once a week to practice agility. But I think I should do more of that sniffy stuff too! Lark is having way too much fun!
Diane left us for five whole days. She went to visit Liz and Trixie. I've never met Trixie, but she sends me presents. What were they up to, you ask. Just look!
Diane finally enrolled me in an agility seminar. It was taught by Stacy Peardot Goudy and it was lots of fun. It's time Diane got on board with all that new handling stuff. She hasn't learned anything new for years! And it was about time she let me go along. Sometimes she thinks I can't do stuff. She still doesn't understand me. Sigh!
It took almost 3 years but Diane finally figured out what I really, really want to be when I grow up. A sheep dog! Now we drive to Armstrong almost every week to take lessons. It's my favorite thing in the whole world. But that Diane needs to smarten up. She doesn't understand the sheep at all. And she bought a stock stick at the Dollar Store this week. It's blue with yellow and pink flowers on it. It looks an awful lot like a broom handle to me. Oh well. I'll have to put up with a few quirks, I guess.

AuthorMy name is Diane and I share my life with a Cardigan Welsh Corgi named Yodel. Yodel is my third Cardi and he is just wonderful. He is still quite young and doesn't know what he wants to be when he grows up. For now he is learning agility and Rally obedience. My previous Cardigans, Pekoe and Kiwi, were accomplished obedience and agility dogs. Maybe Yodel will follow in their footsteps. Archives
