It finally happened! Yesterday morning Sage sniffed Kiwi's butt! Yup. Kiwi's been doing the surreptitious butt-sniff for a while, trying to sneak a sniff when she thinks Sage doesn't notice. Three months of patient work with two "dogs-with-issues" and we've finally reached the stage at which the dogs can sniff and greet at the beginning of their morning walk. Amazing. More amazing, of course, is the fact that two middle-aged women see this as a reason to celebrate.
My name is Diane and I share my life with a Cardigan Welsh Corgi named Yodel. Yodel is my third Cardi and he is just wonderful. He is still quite young and doesn't know what he wants to be when he grows up. For now he is learning agility and Rally obedience. My previous Cardigans, Pekoe and Kiwi, were accomplished obedience and agility dogs. Maybe Yodel will follow in their footsteps.
