I've been here for a full week! I think I've got most stuff figured out now. Yodel only barks when we play. I'm no longer on my best behavior. I can tell they love me and won't send me back to the farm. Although I really liked the farm. Hm. I've been noodling every day and have seen interesting things. Here are some of the things I've seen: bicycles of all sizes, kids wearing helmets, boy on a funny scooter thing, gray-haired lady in a chair that moved like a car, a very strange man in a chair with wheels that didn't move like a car (Diane called it a wheelchair), buses, trucks, cars, strange man in a hoodie and baggy pants. There may be more but I forget. I'm still very little and can't remember everything. Did I mention that I play with my water bowl. Yes, I do. I dig all the water out so that it splashes over the floor and gets me wet at the same time. I like being wet.
Diane didn't have time for my diary on the weekend. I hope she doesn't make a habit of that! I've been having lots of fun with Uli, Diane and Yodel. Yodel is really goofy. I won't have any trouble managing him. He is already my slave. Here we are in the backyard playing. This afternoon I am going to meet Sage, Maki's Golden Retriever. Then we go noodling again. I wonder where this time.
It was a different kind of day. Diane and Yodel had to go to a trial. I don't know what that is. But I could tell that Diane was really busy. Uli played with me lots. This afternoon he drove me to the "center" to visit Diane and a whole bunch of strange people. They all fussed over me. I must be awfully cute. Yodel came home with a big ribbon and a title. He didn't really care about it. He just wanted to play with me. I think he missed me. We have many more pictures and video clips. Diane says she won't have time to post any until after the trial. Oh. Yodel got a prize. He is sharing it with me.
I didn't sleep well. I had to get up three times to poop. Diane got up with me. Yodel and Uli just stayed in bed. But I still had a good day. Diane took that noisy Yodel away to agility training (whatever that is!) this morning. I stayed with Uli. We played in the yard. I explored a whole lot. I think I've checked out most stuff now. But you never know! After lunch Diane took me for another drive. She says I need to go for a drive every day. Then we visited Maki, Alysa and John. I played in their yard for a while. Then Maki came noodling with us. We saw a river. And I heard very strange dogs.
This was my first day with Diane, Uli and Yodel. Yodel is a Cardi. He barks a lot. But I don't care. I think Diane is in charge. It seems that way to me. Uli is a big softie. I've already impressed him with my remarkable skills. I couldn't believe that all I had to do was fetch one ball and he would be putty in my hands. Diane is following the Puppy Culture program. We were "noodling" today. Whatever that means. I saw traffic. And bicycles. And people. There were leaves blowing around. I pounced on them. After we had noodled, we drove to Auntie Cathy's to visit in her driveway. I like her a lot. She is coming to visit on Monday. We have pictures of my day in a slideshow and a video of with my wonderful tuggie from Kathleen.
